FAQ

Where are the proceeds going and how can I confirm that?

We will donate the proceeds to the world’s leading child’s rights organization, earmarked to be used to help Ukrainian children.  TruNifty’s creators have approached the organization looking for a reputable, trustworthy organization that is already involved in assisting children in Ukraine and is able to accept donations in cryptocurrency.

We will transfer the ETH proceeds from TruNifty’s wallet directly to organization’s wallet. As any ETH transaction, the transfer – sending wallet, amount transferred, receiving wallet – will be traceable on the blockchain for the world to see.

Please note: the organization has asked that we not publicize its name while the fundraise is pending, to protect the safety of its field workers, who may be put in danger if there is a perception that the organization is taking sides in the conflict. We are allowed to disclose the name of the organization as well as provide verification on the blockchain that 100% of the net proceeds were transferred, once we finalize the fundraise.

Does TruNifty keep any administrative fees?

No. 100% of the net proceeds raised through the sale of this NFT collection will be donated to the world’s leading child’s rights organization. By “net proceeds” we mean all funds we raise through this NFT collection sale, less any fees payable to third parties such as gas fees and platform fees  (OpenSea).

How do I know this is legit?

TruNifty was organized by Alan Rosca, Esq., who is an attorney whose practice includes crypto-related matters, based in the Cleveland, Ohio area and licensed to practice law in Ohio and Washington, DC. We list a physical location – see this website’s footer. For more info on Alan’s law firm, visit investorlawyers.org. TruNifty is organized as an LLC, registered in Ohio. As with any new NFT offering, you should exercise scrutiny so that you understand where your money is going. We’re happy to answer any questions about our NFT offering and/or background.

If you would like to contribute but you’re not sure whether to do it through TruNifty, you can donate directly to any child’s rights organization. If you contact us and show us you donated the equivalent of 0.10 ETH to a child’s rights organization, we’ll be happy to transfer you one of the NFTs for free (with you covering any gas fee / other fees charged by OpenSea; we reserve the right to choose the NFT).

Is this a tax-deductible transaction?

We’re not organized as a tax-exempt organization. We can’t offer you tax advice, and you should check with your CPA. The way the transaction is structured, you’re buying an NFT from us, and we’re donating the money to the world’s leading child’s rights organization.
